Hi,
I bought a new set of brake pads for my metro turbo vented 4 pots, and theyve got an electrical plug coming off them like this.

Is it a temperature sensor or something?
Cheers,
Joe

Brake wear sensor.
When the pad wears down the wires connect and turn the light on the dash on.
Just cut it off, I bet the pad with the sensor wears out slowest.
