I'm new to the whole mini game even new to the auto-mechanics scene. Just wondering if there's any good articles/sites/books to learn the down low on engines even better mini engines and what all the components do and how to tweak them etc....... Bit of light reading won't hurt. Cheers Hoba |

just about to mention vizards. This will teach all about the a-series and give you a good foundation on how to make them go hard You could always read an a gregories repair manual. these can be helpful for learning about minis in general |

Tehn the yellow David Vizard book. He talks you very easy through the odds of the A-Series engine

Nice I'll find some of his books on the net.... yeah i've got the original workshop manual but that is just how to R&I stuff not much on workings etc.... I know the braking system back the front as I've done a brake rebuild and had some troubles along the way... so maybe just pulling stuff out and playing round is the best way to learn the engine.... What could possibly go wrong hahahaha
