Hey guys, got round to stripping the rear subframe last night but hit a wall when it came to taking the radius arms off (bout 5 mins in). It was too late to think too hard bout it, so after a couple of dismal attempts i gave up. So, here I am... How do you get the blighters off?! Thanks, Matt. |

Unless some cock has welded the side brackets on (I've seen it before) then there's four 5/16 inch bolts and two half inch nuts. Undo the brake hose first ofcourse. Not rocket science to remove them. |

I found it fairly straight forward. Theres 4bolts that connect a bracket from the radius arm to subframe, then the inner nut on the radius arm shaft needs to be removed and then the radius arm will pull out towards yourself, considering the brake line is disconected from the subframe and the handbrake cable is disconected, also trumpet is removed/disconected. From memory thats about it, i think. Good luck. Nathan |

Not rocket science to remove them. I got the 1/2 inchers off, but dont recall any 5/16 bolts...will look closer tonight. Thanks ![]() ![]() |
