had to lend my mini to my mum today. should i be worried about its condition upon return? |

I wouldn't stress. I get a bit iffy when mum asks to drive my mini, then i remember that she used to drive them all the time years ago and probably can drive it better and look after it better than me. And whats a new clutch plate worth for your mum? ![]() |

same here. i think mine is scared of my mini. or maybe it's the driver (even though she has been in the car when i've been driving lately and has been ok. i think she remembers trying to teach me and assumes i'm still like that... she still gets stressed when she gets in the car but it soon passes. |

My mum just loved it when her battery went flat in her lancer, i don't offer my mini for her as she would need to double clutch and whilst she may have done this many years ago i think it might be a bit of a disaster. Dad's mini had a flat battery and my rx4, well that wouldnt end well. It would involve a lot of stalling, maybe some wheelspin and some very very odd looks when she finally got to work. |
