I wouldn't stress. I get a bit iffy when mum asks to drive my mini, then i remember that she used to drive them all the time years ago and probably can drive it better and look after it better than me. And whats a new clutch plate worth for your mum?

same here. i think mine is scared of my mini. or maybe it's the driver (even though she has been in the car when i've been driving lately and has been ok. i think she remembers trying to teach me and assumes i'm still like that... she still gets stressed when she gets in the car but it soon passes.

My mum just loved it when her battery went flat in her lancer, i don't offer my mini for her as she would need to double clutch and whilst she may have done this many years ago i think it might be a bit of a disaster. Dad's mini had a flat battery and my rx4, well that wouldnt end well. It would involve a lot of stalling, maybe some wheelspin and some very very odd looks when she finally got to work.
