Just wondering where everyone buys tyres for their Minis with standard rims (145 R10's) - and how much should I expect to pay per tyre?

Fingers crossed I can find something decent for under $100 each!!!!

yep minisport have kumho's for about 100 a tyre not including fitting

and i could get maxxis from bridgestone magill for about 100 a tyre fitted i think.

kumho's are an excellent tyre for stock rims, but

would like to know more about the maxxis, do you think you could get some pics up and post some information off the sidewalls?

Done! Booked in at Tyrepower Blackwood for Kumhos at $96 each fitted & balanced.

.... still a far cry from what I paid for my first set - $25 each fitted and balanced from used tyre mart (when they were on South Rd Melrose park) about 8 years ago!

Not bad looking actually (not a super modern looking tread which suits narrow wheeled mini's) , if only they didn't say "trailermaxx" on them .

Just an update for you Adelaide folks, Bob jane in Pultney Street will do falkens for $89 fitted and balanced - bloke I spoke to there seemed pretty decent and didn't try to fob me off like some of the other places I tried.

... and the prices keep tumbling! Bob Jane will also do the Kuhmos for $79 each F&B! I've changed my booking and am now going to them.

Interestingly Minisport quoted me $105 for Kuhmos, not including fitting & balancing - a far cry from the $79 at BJTM - either Bob Jane has some phenomenal buying power or Minisport has put up their margin...
