Uniform colour scheme and a limited colour palette are key to good looking cars. If you're replacing the flares with 'standard' black plastic ones, here's an idea I had based on a Countach I saw. Whole car, including flares, in dark grey, not metallic, with the edge of the flare painted dark-ish orange. Repeat on the inside, but retrim in grey microsuede, possibly with orange piping on the seats and do the numbers on your speedo etc in orange. Use the second colour only as a highlight.

i think clubmans look tough with screw on black plastic flares with no edging. if keen on chrome edging then i think flares need to be colour coded to car.

i'm a big fan of black or grey interiors but i'm a bit boring/timeless like that!

good luck

any contrasting colour will look ace. you're looking for a darkish colour, or possibly royal blue or forest green or something.

think ford cobra for blue, or this umbrella for green

Image (bloody link doesn't work!)

personally i think those colours go well with white.

then trim your interior in a similar fashion, using the second colour has a highlight, as stated above :D

remember the KISS principle and you can't go wrong. and by that, i mean Keep It Simple, Stupid! Don't go painting a load of black and whie make up on it and send it on tour with a rock band...

Hahaha yeah I was thinking black flares and maybe black bonnet stripes. And either grey, black or perhaps a mix of black and orange or red

So who did you end up getting to do the body and paint?
Also the standard flairs look the best colour coded but if going for different ones the sky's the limit.
