Hammer out a panel from some sheet metal and section it in. Easy. Once you spray some under coat on it nobody will ever know. |

yep just bend up a new piece of metal thats the same size cut the old one out and weld the new one in easy. cheers dan |

There is no rust that I can see. Just dolly the dings out from underneath |

yeah, it's the section where the bootfloor and rear seat ect join up. There are rust holes visible from the inside of the car as well. so can i just cut out the section ( boot floor and seam of rear seat0, and weld in two new pieces of metal? I just don't want to do anything to impair the structural strength of the shell. thanks |

How big are the rust holes? Maybe just fill them with a mig? |

it looks pretty good to me...why hack it up? you could fill the holes with a welder if small anyway. Treat with rust converter and you're away.. |

sorry the first photo didn't really show the rust well.. so here's some more ![]() ![]() gotta love the rotisserie! ![]() this is the worst of it ![]() followed by this. I recon i can fill the rest of the holes with the mig, but I'm not sure about these... |

Carfully remove the top skin in those small areas and make a replacement piece and weld in. Dremel should work wonders in this instance! ![]() |
