Post subject:  HIF44 installation

Hi all

Just been installing my HIF44 carb and i'm unsure of what to do with the floatbowl overflow outlet (the one next to the breather pipe). What do i need to do with this? just leave it open? cap it off?
Any help would be great.
Thanks.

The float vent is basically an overflow so should have a bit of pipe attached to it that exits somewhere under the car away from anything hot

You can leave it open or you can run it to a charcoal cannister or use a bit of hose to move it away from heat but you can't block it off or the carby will flood.

Thanks Morris 1100. I think i'll just pipe it down next to the subframe and let it vent out there. Fuel loss will be insignificant right?
