A mate's just got home from a wet evening in London for the pre International Mini Meet event at the Ace Cafe . He's a bit of a moke fan so most photo's were of the mokes there (love the caravans) but also said the "Aussies were there in force" .

my Dad would've been there... maybe I'll text him, it's only 1am over there - he sent us a text at 4am on Wednesday saying he'd arrived at Heathrow

I'll be there on the 24th of August. Is there much happening around then? I'm stuck for three weeks in the UK. And have planned for only one.

We passed those Mokes with the caravans on the M20 from Folkestone. One was getting some serious sway going, but he still had time to wave  Crazy Germans and Belgians.

The weather was seriously wet on that night (yes we made it alright) which kept a lot of the locals away. There were only enough Minis to fill the carpark out the front, and I am told they normally fill both sides of the road as well when the weather is good.

We had a great time with the international atmosphere of the pre IMM night.

Seriously you have to go there if you are in London, the food is good the beer is good, any night will have cars or bikes on.....

cheers
michael

Hey, come on. It's not funny to make fun of things that are dead.
