I'm looking at the possibility of buying "Donna" from 4myego (Steve). Apparently she is known around Sydney. He's asking around $8K.
I don't know a lot about the car, but it looks good and Steve's description sounds good also. If I did buy her, I'd have a go at driving the 1400km trip back home to Bundaberg. Not an easy trip for a 40 year old car - but there are some mini-nuts from Victoria that are driving minis up to the Mini Muster in Brisbane in September - that's far longer than a 1400km trip. Can anyone give some opinions on "Donna"?

Great car. The previous owner (Donna, in MCCNSW) totally rebuilt it.

wow there is a blast from the past. I loved that car. Havent seen it for ages.

IMHO, if your spending that much on a car, you should extend yourself the additional $800 to get it shipped. 1400kms of highway driving and rocks and chips and stones... Would be such a shame for it to be damaged.....

I can vouch for that car too - if its in the same condition as it was when it left Donna's hands its as new.

-1. I reckon it looks pretty hot with those contessa's (or whatever variant thereof they are). Certainly keep the std wheels for shows, but leave those on for daily driving.

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hahahahaha... the funniest thing about that was when it came out, Duc was out on one of our runs and decided Trevor Moke needed the blue tape treatment. 3 years later and the moke STILL has the blue tape on. Its only here and there in patches, but man that stuff doesnt come off..!!!!
