 Post subject: 1/4 windows

When did 1/4 windows first appear and when did they disappear? I noticed in the IMM photos that hardly any minis had them. Did they finish with the Clubbie?

UK most didn't have them, I asked a similar question once before. Not sure about Sth Africa, would have to look it up.

UK cars never had them. Other than the ones fitted by coach builders of the day (radford for eg.).

We (Australia) got them with the Deluxe and kept them until the end of Australian production.

England didn't get winding window doors until much later than us, but the doors were different (bigger). No 1/4 window vent.

Late ones maybe, but 65-71 they were same as our deluxe.
