Try hitting the cone a bit with a hammer to free it up. If the rubber turns with the cone try jamming it with a screwdriver. |

Yes, locknut was undone before trying to adjust the hilo. I tried jamming it with a screwdriver, but didn't work. The car has coil springs, don't know if that will make any difference. |

Daniel, I had some issues with this myself, your best bet is to reapply pressure to the hilo. Jack up the the car and then using another jack to lift up the suspension. This should hold the cone in place, then you can release the tension off the adjuster nut. At least I am pretty sure this is what I did. Hope that helps Cheers Jonesy |

I used two shifters, one to hold the hi-lo the other to undo the locking nut. If you get that far then do as Jonsey said and jack up the suspension from the lower ball joint gently and apply pressure on the cone. |
