Morning all

On the rear of my 97 Mayfair (above the number plate light thingo) it looks like there used to be a badge there (or sticker??).... it looks like the Mini "wings" (new Mini logo)

I can't seem to find anything detailing the specifications of badges etc.

can anyone help?

many thanks as always

Deb

Hi Deb,

Here's the back of my old car so you can see what it looks like.

should be the same as the one on the front - you can get all sorts of different centres for them

(looks like they've messed up the image)

If you have the Rover logo on the front, this is the one for the back.
Cheers Pete

Yeah, older ones were like that... here's my wife's old 1992 Mayfair:

The coopers had the wing logo like Michael's for a long time but the 'other' minis only got the wing logo towards the end and minispares reckon it was from 1996 on, but there could always have been differences in Jap-spec models that have ended up here.

I know that if I got a Jap-spec version of my car, it wouldn't be badged the same.
..edit...just found this one - 1997 mayfair - in the UK and it has the wings badge.

Personally I prefer the 'MINI' lettering as i'm getting all nostalgic for our old car in the pic above - took us all round Europe in June 1994, still my favourite colour for a mini...
