I was wondering if anyone can recommend a source for obtaining the Original Equipment Wibroc Door Mirrors, as installed when new on Leyland Minis please? |

I get mine from eBay. They come up from time to time. Otherwise I know John Smidt at MiniKing has them restored in batches so he may have what you want. |

I have picked up a couple at the Goulburn Swap meet. There was a bloke that used to restore old mirrors and sell them at the swap meet. |

They were an option from about 1965 and they were fitted standard from about 71 to 78. They made thousands of them. Where have they all gone? ![]() ![]() |

I think the Panorama is the one you are after. Have you contacted John Smidt? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

They were used on several other Leyland cars at the time, including P76s and Marinas. Tim |

It is the Panorama but the heads changed over the years. The stock ones fitted to later Minis didn't have the same shape head as the one in the photo. You need to keep an eye on the spring mount on the arm, it can eventually wear through and fall off. ![]() For those that don't know how to remove one there is a hidden screw... ![]() You have to adjust the arm into the right position to get a screwdriver onto the screw... ![]() And this is the bit that screws onto the door.... ![]() |
