hey everyone
getting some serious knocking noises from my steering rack
there is a little bit of play
it feels like the rack is loose inside the actual steering rack housing
is it possible to adjust this (shims?) or is it rooted?
any help would be appreciated

Check that the steering rack U bolts are tight.

yeah that was the first thing i checked
the rack is actually moving inside

Needs overhaul. New neoprene bush instead of felt thing - new spring dovers to stop play
