Hi all

The inside rear view mirror I have has broken the plastic holder (swivel bit), that goes between the mirror holder & the arm.
What holds the mirror is position?
Does the mirror come out without breaking it?
Can I get the broken plastic bit or get it made?

Its an early model mini mirror with tinted glass.

Has anyone taken the mirror out without breakage?
What holds the mirror in?

The mirror was designed to break off in an accident, thats why it is mounted with the plastic base. they do unclip and you can re fit them, if you have broken the plastic mount then you will need to find a good S/H one as new ones are not available, except maybe NOS. Try John Smidt.
