I hate using the term Mk1 and Mk2 in Aussie minis but here goes. Are there any differences? |

I reckon it's perfectly valid to use the terms MK1 and MK2 for aussie minis.... the definition of them varies a bit tho and 'no' ![]() |

All right hand tanks are the same shape and size however they do vary in the fact that there was two different methods of welding the two halves together. The early tanks mostly found in the mk1 S, were fuse welded around the edge of the two halves, The later tanks where crimp welded around the flats of where the two halves join, in the same manner as the left hand tanks.
