why do people put japcrap engines in minis? There is nothing like the sound of an 'A' buzzin along at a touch over 8000rpm. The feeling is incredible. Nothin like listening to that barking weber as you blow of the nearest V8 commy, falcon, etc. You should see their eyes... ![]() |

Why, the same reason why you put a webber on your car. to get a better performance. It's not everyone's fancy, but there isn't anything wrong with it. Just like i probably wouldn't put a webber on my car, doesn't mean i can't appreicate what others do do to there cars. Cheers Aaron |

Well technically a webber isn't mini, mini's never came out of the factory with a webber on it. But your right there an itergral part of performance mini's. Much the same way as a v-tec has become an integral part of performance mini's in the UK. If you get my drift, it' just a matter of time before it is something people do. There is only so many A-series engines in the world, and they wil dry up eventually. Cheers Aaron |
