Hi there

I am hoping that someone might be able to shed some light on the door check strap mounts on my english van....

Where the threaded holes are located on an aussie shell, mine has two square pressings as shown in the picture below... The other side appears to have a plastic plug in one of the holes, but no threads.



Is there a door check that fits these holes, or is there something like an insert that is missing? Or has someone messed with the shell?

Just trying to find the easiest way to fit the door checks to my car!
