Mine has about 5mm clearance to the bump stops which are in good condition. Heres a pic of how it sits, not the best angle, the front guards have about 35mm gap.

Do I need to remove the bump stops completely or cut them down?! I noticed that the top arm is resting on the bump stop effectively stopping the car sitting where I want it to! Thanks people! |

Thanks people! If it's sitting on a bump stop it means you've got 3/4 of bugger all suspension travel left. Why you would want a mini that low i don't know but removing the bump stops will never end up doing any good as when you bottom out it won't be a soft rubber but metal to metal, and the suspension wont work if it can't compress. In short, don't do it. |

The thing is it doesn't seem that low!!! There is still a gap just smaller than my fist size from tyre to arch! Which looks alot! |

something don't sound right, the bump stops arn't from a Kenworth by any chance are they, measuse the thickness and let someone on here know what that is and they should be able to guide you a bit further.. |

1 to 2mm clear of the bumpstops is where you will achieve the best handling |

Sorry, I assumed you were going for ridiculously low. The STD bump stops are only about 10mm thick. Check the minisport website to see if the bump stops look the same as what you have. |
