Quote: aprox 100 panel vans whent down the production line accidentaly stamped as 4 seaters when the person incharge forgot to change the seating capacity
Ah, happy times. Makes you wonder if they ever stopped sipping hydro fluid long enough to get a whole car 100% sorted... |

Sounds a bit suss to me, but anythings possible. I thought back seats were a dealer fitted option on some vans and not a factory thing..? |

looks to me to be just a van that has (at some stage) been "blue-Plated" for a rear seat fitting whether it was done by "someone" or by the Aussie factory is obviously not known yet,,, However--> i highly doubt that it was an Aussie factory converted one because they "usually" did a decent job & fitted the sliding windows & side pockets with the rear seat (we had one of those wagons for years & years as one of our many ReadSpeed MiniMecca delivery vans & it`s now owned by a good friend of mine) r u s t is the only other concern with this one |

nah, it doesn't appear that the rear floor has even been cut for a seat - it's just a 'stampo' from the factory... my S has 'S' as the seating capacity, the chick at vicroads decided it was meant to be a '5' |
