| Post subject: | Voltage regulator on Clubmans? |
Pulling apart a track car atm and buggered if I can find a Voltage reg on it. Its got an alternator not a dynamo, so is it built into the alternator? Its a 72 clubby, but very little standard about it so not sure if its missing or just built into the alt. Cheers in advance, miki. |

What does the alternator look like , does it have a large plastic cover over the back of it ? If so it should be internally regulated (probably not the right term but it has the regulator on board) . |

The regulator is inside the plastic end cover, it is a tin can with 2 or 3 wires on it. I had to swap mine out recently, got another from a wrecked alternator. |
