Clubman GT (Oz one) was basically all Cooper S mechanicals, suspension & brakes put in a Clubman body.
With 75HP it went much harder than the UK's 1275GT ever did. :P

No not very rare at all, every body had a Cooper S and then upgraded to a BLMC Mini GT .

I have a Leyland Mini S that means it got all the go fast gear like a radio, carpet and special trim.

.

And only 1500ish made so rarer than a Cooper S . Go across to www.clubmangt.com.au for more info on them .

If you want a rare clubman style car I'm not sure which had more made , the mini SS or the mini sunshine but neither would have been more than 500 built , then the 1275LS at a claimed 1000 , then the GT at 1500 .

In Australia there was no "later GTs"
They were only made for about two years.

Didn't ALL the Oz GTs have S spec motors? Like- twin SUs, and 75HP?
They only built em until they ran out of Cooper S goodies.

The UK 1275GTs had all the `power' of a 1275LS...
