Hi all. Was wondering if you can help. When I have my choke out and ignition on petrol comes out into my air cleaner. Should this happen or is something wrong.......thanks

hmmmm...No the Fuel bowl should stop that from happening.
Can't tell you whats happening but i'm sure the float is stuck in the bowl

I presume you have a electric fuel pump. If this is the case then your carby is pouring fuel into the air cleaner and in any of the cylinder where the inlet valve is open.
The problem is the float needle and seat in the float bowl. fix or replace, and before you try to start the engine remove all the plugs , turn over by hand then with the starter. If you do not, then if you try to start you can hydraulic a cylinder and stuff it.
The other thing to check if elect pump is that the pressure v/v is not U/S

Thanks guys I will give it a ho. Should I block the breether outlet on top of the fuel bowl or leave it open?

It must be open.
If it is blocked fuel will run out of the jet and fill the airfilter.
