Bit of a long story but do the internals of the earlier 0.7" master cylinder (the one without the groove around the base , also called one flat cap , one ring seal type) fit into the slightly later 0.7" master cylinder which has the groove around the base ? I have a non-grooved master cylinder to re-kit and a kit , but I also have a grooved base master cylinder that will match the clutch master cylinders shape and age . Can the internals (the whole lot including rod and spring) be swapped or are they type specific ?
