Is it the same as Aussie rubber? I'm looking at new windscreen seals and wondering if they will be ok in our conditions. Could be good while the $A is strong again. |

They'r not good even in european conditions... ![]() My window rubbers started to fall into pieces after 3 years. They'r not 1 piece, but volcanised/glued together. And the joint start to let go quite soon... Don't know - maybe quality got better in the meanwhile. But I doubt it, to be honest. All the temporarily produced rubber stuff seem to be very low quality from what I've seen recently... ![]() |

Much of the automotive and general rubber that is sold by the metre comes from China now. I know, I've seen it unloaded. ![]() Not sure if windscreen rubbers are from there, yet. |
