I was looking for one in Melbourne recently, ended up buying my own one and then gonna sell it off after I'm done, cheaper then renting.

With the cost of them now I'd say just buy a folding one , it can sit in a corner of the garage until you need it again or you can sell it off later . Mine (well, dad's really  ) has been used for everything over the years , more moving heavy furniture off trailers , lifting mini shells (open doors, put boom through into middle of interior, slings out the door and under the floor ,jack up with a person steadying it at either then back trailer under it) and slabs of timber etc than engines . If you've got a couple of hundred $$ and space in the garage just buy one .

I have one at my place but it isn't mine. I'll ask if you can borrow it.
Failing that I'll pop around for a few hours with it each time.

ok Nav that would be awesome..

would help me alot, i really don't think i will need it long at all.

just need to paint the engine then hoist it in & let it dry in the car.

so mainly painting then drop it in would maybe need it a day max early morning to evening.
