my rover booster brake pedal box thing i bought of ebay ages ago seems to stick out far in the car looks odd..

can it be adjusted? for less travel.

sits out further by about 3 or 4cms then the clutch peda,l looks really funny.

Im not really sure what it would be like to Drive. :?

Get a rover clutch pedal.
:D

The rover pedals were bent 'into the cabin' more.

dam it!!!!!

i do have a another pedal box with both on it..

so that means the pedal box & steering rack & crap has to kinda come off?

Not steering rack, column maybe.
You could change it over in the car though it is a bit difficult.

The other option you have is to put an early (aussie) brake pedal in and ditch the rover one (this is what I did), however the rover pedal is the far better solution.
If the old pedal is to go in, it will need to have the stiffening rib ground back 2mm or so to clear the brake switch, and the hole for the clevis pin is a different size and needs to be changed.

As I say, canging the clutch pedal is the way to go for you.

it was easy to do, saying that still took a good 45 mins upside down hehe

did not have to take the box out you can do it in the car.

now it looks right!

Make sure you modified you gas pedal to suit too.
I was once passenger in a mini that had mixed pedal heights and the driver kept hitting the gas instead of brake because they weren't lifting their foot to the right height.

So are you saying I should adjust the pedal or use a rover accelerator pedal?

I have a rover brake and cluth one now.

If they arent within a fail safe distance of height to each other, then do whatever you think will give you a better outcome.
I guess on a mini having the acceleratror lower isn't a bad thing, on my rover I'd occasionly press both pedals at once.

It's what you're comfortable with mainly.
