I am trying to purchase a Curley carbon roundnose flipfront, has anyone imported one, or are there any decent fitting alternatives? |

If you get it shipped make sure its insured for all damages caused. Ive heard of carbon dashboards sent 3 times and broken everytime because of the post workers. |

Have a look at The Carbon Weezel a bit more $ but it all looks spot on and very light. I will be placing an order with them before the end of the year on some small stuff will let you know what it is like. http://www.carbonweezel.co.uk/products.html Nathan. |

Thanks for the replies, are there any locally made flipfronts? I'm guessing if there were they would only be fiberglass. I way end up making a steel flippy. |

My race car has a removeable steel front and it is quite light if you remove the inner guards. Easy to remove takes about a minute or two to remove. Great for access to work on anything. |

Any pics of how it was done Smarty? I plan to do the same with my racer, when Morris1100 is finished playing with it. ![]() Mine already has no inner guards. Cheers, |

Not a good one, will have to take one for you tomorrow. ![]() Basically it has been cut down the front of the a panel, around the seam. There are two pins in the front subframe and 2 zeus clips either side just in front of the A panel. Can get some better pics tomorrow if you like. |

Thanks, that's great. I'd like to see how you set up the zeus clamps at the sides. No hurry though, I won't have the car here for three weeks minimum and it's ulikely I'll start work on it straight away. ![]() Cheers, Brett. |
