A mate of mine is looking to by a Liberty in Brisbane on Saturday, and wants a mechanic who can inspect on Saturday morning who's going to do a good job and give him an honest opinion.

Does anyone know of any Subie savvy mechanics around Moorooka? Someone honest and GOOD??

Cheers

He's pretty desperate, and is going to need to call the mechanic early tomorrow morning, so if anyone can help with a recommendation....

 to the last answer.

He's not interested in paying through the nose for a dealership (even though i'm aware it's it's their specialty and are probably very good).

He's aware of RACQ, just wanted to know if there were any other options (I would be taking the RACQ option though)

I don't want to have to join a Subaru forum to ask the question given that there are people in brisbane who know good mechanics on this forum.
