this is about a week old news but i thought i would post cause im bored at work. i went to mini spares at padstow 2 weekends ago and found out some interesting stuff about tiny. the guys tony and larry remembered the car to a T. they remember the old owner and told me about the work it had done.

apparently tiny is a 1132 or 1152 with a 730 cam. the carbie is a hif 1.5 and the manifold is 1.75 :D back to the old system i think

the lost horsepower is unknown to them. they reckon it could be the way the twins have been set up and maybe set up wrong. they reckon im better off with the old single one or a 1.75"

Joe , for your sanity (and our's) pick one mechanic and stick with them , so far one shop fitted the carbs , another tuned them and now a third is telling you they aren't right .

I thought he was a mechanic? Perhaps he could do a better job of it himself?

the tune on his car is fine - there was nothing wrong with his A/F ratio on the dyno - there is no extra power to be had from changing your carb Joe. You need head work and a cam.
