Mick I haven't laughed that hard in ages!!! Thats pure gold!!! We used to play jokes on each other at tafe similar to that,,, usually just turn the feed rate right up so when the go to weld they sh1t em selves,,, but that is gold!!! Well done.
Ok ok, its not nice to laugh at others unless you can laugh at yourself... I was welding with the oxy one day and the tip got dirty.. I thought "I know I'll clean it with this toe dolly" (flat dolly about the size of your palm) so yep, I ran the tip over the dolly and straight across my fingers... I couldn't even feel it. It creeped me out a little, cos I have
never seen that much smoke come off flesh,, it just kept burning? For about 30 seconds... and then when I ran it under the water (I think quenched is a better word) steam came off it for a good 5 seconds? So if you've ever wondered what 3750 degrees C will do to human flesh,, wonder no more!!!

I found out so you don't have too!!
