Hey,

I was wondering if there were any gauge clusters from other cars that could be adapted to the mini? The ones i have seen dont seem to have a screw bit for the speedo cable. I know i could get a clubman 3 gauge cluster but i was wanting something a little different.

Thanks Blake

I know early Camira SLE clusters are a close fit but i think you have to modify the speedo cable at the speedo end a lil bit

I've been doing this for 15 years, haven't lost it yet ;)

I reckon if I judged my speed by the speedo, I would have lost my licence long ago

I've put a set of Triumph 2000 or 2500 gauges in the std. centre speedo cluster :) http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=57141

I find it really hard to lose my licence, its always in my wallet. And i just go about 65ish everywhere, nice and smooth with the cam in it then.

Ok im just running off the top of my head as an avionics tech, but you could most probably use any gauges in a mini its just a matter of remanufacturing the looms that come from various components to the back of the gauge..... wouldnt be too hard just a bit of persistence and crimping and you can have any gauge cluster you like.

Please someone tell me if I'm wrong

Cheers Hoba
