I have a new bullet mirror I need to fit, but I can't figure out how to remove the door skin  It seems like something that should be simple, so I feel a bit stupid...
I unscrewed everything, but the skin wouldn't budge.

Errrr.... why to you need to remove the door skin to fit a mirror?

The skins are virtualy fixed - edges folded over a a few spots of weld to lock them on.

you'll have to take off the handles on the inside as well. if there aren't any screws left in it may have been glued down?

Sorry I understand that it is a personal choice, but why would you want to fit bullet mirrors? Have you ever actually tried to use them? as a mirror I mean.

To take the Trim off from where you are now, there are a couple of hidden lift clips at the trailing edge (or back edge) of the trim, usually a steel rule slid under the card and gently lifted will get the job done.

There is a chance that someone has used adhesive as well.

Great Mo by the way :)
