I have a new bullet mirror I need to fit, but I can't figure out how to remove the door skin ![]() I unscrewed everything, but the skin wouldn't budge. |

Errrr.... why to you need to remove the door skin to fit a mirror? The skins are virtualy fixed - edges folded over a a few spots of weld to lock them on. |

you'll have to take off the handles on the inside as well. if there aren't any screws left in it may have been glued down? |

![]() I unscrewed everything, but the skin wouldn't budge. Sorry I understand that it is a personal choice, but why would you want to fit bullet mirrors? Have you ever actually tried to use them? as a mirror I mean. To take the Trim off from where you are now, there are a couple of hidden lift clips at the trailing edge (or back edge) of the trim, usually a steel rule slid under the card and gently lifted will get the job done. There is a chance that someone has used adhesive as well. Great Mo by the way ![]() |
