Post subject:  Nylon Cup Driveshaft Couplings

I see MiniSpares in the UK are listing among their newest products these again part no. QL5000 I think. Nylon cups and needle roller bearings. Around UKP38 a pair. They haven't been available for a while as an alternative to the traditional rubber couplings.

Months? When I started playing with Minis I used to chew them out in a week! :lol:
Both the QL5000s in my car are over 12 years old and still doing fine.
If they do wear out you can fit a new uni-joint into the plastic cups.

Weren't a couple of people on here going to remake them? I remember David Rosenthal was one...
I have CAD drawings for the cups, that a guy on MM forum did. :wink:

Two or three local suppliers stock locally made ones with delrin cones, but they are really expensive. I recently picked up a NOS set of QH ones so I'm feeling smug.
