After many years spent scrounging for unbroken seat belt clips for a MK II S restoration it is good to see that someone has taken the plunge and begun manufacture of these rare items. Is it someone on this forum? Have these just appeared?

Ane they do reproduction door striker plates too.

Those clips are the wrong colour aren't they, i thought originals were white?
If thats the case i dont know why they would go to the trouble and not get the colour right?

I just wish somebody would restamp the the door pocket scratch plates.

I seem to recall that these were grey, but that was a long long time ago.................

I was looking at having made re-po door kick plates, but there are too many ears here............

the two I have are like a bone white if I wanted to get anal, autosol brought them up rather nicely.

I would look at a pair as mine are still less than ideal...but they will NEVER carry a seat belt buckle.
Nice idea of BMCs, but rather poor in design

Nice to see the original clips and yes, they were grey. Don't know if my desire to have them extends to their asking price.

Not too bad, $17 per clip. For the special effort he went to in making these, and the historical amounts paid for them...I think its a nice price, particularly if it is the last piece in your puzzle...I'd cough it up pretty quickly...

Yep,

Better get in quick - apparently he had a run of only 20 done. He was initially listing them at $15 each with free postage, now $17 plus $1 postage.

Demand and supply...........
