Hi MrMiniman,

Look,, this is a loooooonnng shot,,, but a lot of the cams that a place called KarCraft get ground, have part numbers that start "KCxxxxx"... for example on of their cams is a KC100... I can't find one called a KCM 500 in their list,,, but since no one else seemed to have any idea either it could be worth giving them a call :?: just a guess

otherwise the other place my mind went was KC = "Kent Cam" but most of their stuff has MD prefixes... sorry budy,, maybe it will lead to another clue?

Kent Cams has a cam called 500, application mild road and turbo. 252° duration
maybe thats the one.
the M may denotes Metro/slot drive

Where did you get it from , there is a place in America that does race performance parts , Keith Craft Motorsport .

If you got it off Ebay, someone could have got them to make a camshaft for a Mini.

If you send it to Camtech they can measure the lift profile and tell you the specs.

Um..... Keith Calver's cams are Graham Russell's, but ground by Piper under licence.
The numbers were changed to protect the innocent.
Ask either of them if you don't believe me.

Well Looking on turbomini forum, the KCM 500 is A kent Copy of the orginal Metro Cam, it is exactly the same as an MG metro cam. So:

Make Model Rover MG Mini Metro
Part Number 500
Application Mild Road
Power Band 1500 - 6000
Cam Lift 6.67mm
Valve Lift 8.12mm
Duration Inlet 252 Degrees
Exhaust 268 degrees
Timing Figures 16/56 59/29
Valve Timing 110 Degrees
Valve Clearance 0.40mm
Valve lift at overlap: 0.99mm

Is this the best suited cam for a 1310 A+ running 10 to 15psi boost, with 8:1 comp??
Or should i get A GR turbo Cam??

Most of the ones I have seen in Sydney (boostedmini, pristic, benjamin) are using the RE13T.
It has more lift, duration, and LCA.
Anything that gets around 130HP ATW from a 1098 motor is a bloody good cam. 8)
