On both of mine only the bit facing the road had stone guard, and they were painted body color.
Jimmyinamini painted his black from the seam down, makes the car look higher off the ground, i prefer body color there

On the clubman were the sills originally stone guarded?! If so where they left in a black or painted over in body colour? Thanks also what do people think looks best black or body colour sills?! |

I'm pretty sure the only Oz Mini that got black sills was the GT. Sills on others were body colour. Not stoneguarded originally. |

Good post and a topic that I have been considering during the strip down. Should be easy to paint over stone guard. Mines has gloss black over the stone guard. However, I won't bother putting it on the sills. Just have it in the wheel arches. Can you post a bigger pic of your car? Love the colour - what is it? |

Well I have gone with body colour over the stone guard! Pick up the car later tonight I hope! So will post some pictures once I get the new drums and wheels on so I fill my new arches!!!! Colour of car is am eye blue! In the pictures it's pretty faded and patch repaired! |
