Post subject: | Where does the "S" go on bootlid |
When I got my Mini S it did not have an "S" on the bootlid. I presume the bootlid is not original as there are no tell tale signs of where it once was. I have picked up an "S", can someone let me know the correct position for it before I drill the holes. ![]() |

Here are some pics showing where the badge is located. When drilling the holes I stick some tape on the panel and mark the location on the tape and then drill through the tape. It stops the drill from slipping and you don't need to centre punch the hole. My measurements are only a rough guide, it was hard to hold the camera and a tape measure while climbing over the top of the ride-on mower. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

All done. Thanks again Morris 1100. Now I think that is a good excuse for going for a drive. Off to Springbrook - Natural Bridge - Murwillimbah & back home. And no my tail light is not crooked, just the way I took the shot and the shadow make it look that way. |
