Same as Watto. The link in the email with the activation code takes me to the logon page where it says the username/password is invalid. How do I get in?

I'm a mod on that forum, but not an admin. Apparently I can't activate the accounts, but I can see the full profile detail and boot people off. (So watch out! Heh Heh!)

One of the admins may have changed something, I'll follow it up with them.

Why not ask here? The forward clutch is real easy to replace. Only takes about three hours. You have to lift the motor out but you can replace the clutch while the motor is complete, you don't need to dismantle the box from the motor.

As Morris says it ain't rocket science, I've done 2 of them no problem.
As said you leave the motor on the box, but it has to be lifted out.
There is a cover on the rad end of the box, remove it and the forward clutch assembly lifts out.
There are a couple of things to watch for on assembly.
Get a copy of the automatic manual before you start, it is in the Leyland Australia comprehensive workshop manual (aka `black book').
Still available new from www.pitstop.net.au and other good bookshops.

I changed the forward clutch while the motor was still hanging on the hook.

Thanks guys, I was told by a few people that in order to get it apart I need a special service tool??... and that i was better off to send it away. Have bought all the replacement parts new already. Maybe i should give it a go... whats the worse that can happen right?

I think that the "special tool" does not like working on automatics.

The book lists one tool for holding the forward clutch while you remove/install the end cover and another tool/jig for lining up the oil pipes when installing the cover.
I used a screwdriver to do the first job and a bit of cardboard for the second job.
