(Sorry if this has been asked before, I did do a search but couldn't find exactly what I was after) My 850 shell is pretty much back to bare metal on the outside etc.. just got the inside and underbody to tackle. My question is what is the best way to clean up/prep underneath? Any feedback is appreciated

Low'n blown is currently on its side having the underbody done as well. If you want it original then you can prep the underneath with a soft brush and soapy water. Finish it off with spraying prepsol and then dabbing it off again with a cloth. Repeat a few times. Touch up the chipped areas with body deadener and undercoat before top coat. Since I am trying to decrease weight I am stripping all the body deadener off with a paint scraper, anding it back and it will be painted in 2 pac black to match the rest of the car. The 2pac is harder wearing than the acrylic and I dont fancy polishing the underneath too often. G. |

greg will that 2pak over metal protect as well as 2pak over deadener/tar over metal? |
