Time has come to cut my westminster carpet for my cooper, do the inner sill ones get cut the sill width only or do they go say an inch or so down the floor and do the ones whicch have the door strap attach (front inner guard) do they also stop at floor pan and bulkhead (where pedals attach) or do they fold about a inch or so and attach to them panels. Also why is seat platform in 2 pieces

And also does seat platform stop at floor or gets overlapped on floor

The carpet strip that covers the seat box section continues onto the floor area on both sides by about 2 inches. The edges that meet the inner sill had the vinyl binding/edging on both sides.
