I knew that they existed, they were fitted to some MG1100s and the Austin America in the USA from new. And they would have been fitted in other countries. They had two types of heaters, they had the dashpot heater like in the ebay ad and they had an induction heater which was a heater coil in a spacer between the manifold and the carby. My Australian Morris 1100 parts book lists the induction heater with a note saying "not Australia" ![]() There are days when I wished that I had them. ![]() |

I have the problem that in Winter it can be minus 7 and summer it can be 45. So all decisions on tuning must take the extremes into account. ![]() |
