Can some one provide me with an exploded view of a Clubman, two speed, self parking wiper motor, or tell me where the self parking plate goes.
I'm assuming this is the correct plate; http://minisport.com.au/prod1369.htm

Basically I'm rebuilding/servicing the wiper motor. So far I've partly dismantled my wiper motor, I can not remove the electric motor from the base cup thingy but I don't think it is necessary to do so anyway, correct?
What type or grease should I use in the gears?
And the bush on the end of the yellow wire is 1/2 the length of the other two bushes (around 5mm long) should I try and replace it or will it last?
Is their anything else I should service while it's all apart?

It goes on the rear of the large gear that the rack cable attaches to.

Ok then, dose it simply sit in place or what?

As Deluxe_68 says, it goes on the back of the big gear in the wiper motor, you'll need to pull your wiper motor out and take the front cover off. Then on the back side, there is a wire circlip that holds the gear shaft in. Take that off and the gear (should) come out. The plate you have (and the one on there) is held in place by the inner 'tabs' on the plate itself being bent over and through the gear.

Also check the copper wipers on the back of the plug (where the wires from the cars loom plug in) as usually at least one of these are worn off. They all (3 of them) should have a round copper 'dollop' on the tips. These were all the same for the Ozzy wiper motors 1 or 2 speed. If you need the copper wipers (which comes with the plug), Mini King has them (and supplies them to Mini Sport) cheaper than your 'usual' supplier.
