Post subject:  Front Shocks

Hi All,
looking for some new front shocks.. Just wondering what the difference was really at the end of the day.. not too fussed about adjustable, non adjustable etc.. just want some nice heavy duty shocks that will last

looking between kyb standard, kyb gas adjust, spax, koni etc? i have no idea what would suit.

Thanks,
Tom

then all the other stuff, what do you use it for (daily? weekend warrior etc?) a little anal i know but these are the questions you should as yourself, then budget etc adjustables are cool, but not always needed...

(the reason i asked it dry or wet is that with wet you dont need gas/adjustable stuff just a nice heavy oil)

ive got a full set of the kyb gas on my moke and they handle really well!

just be sure to set up the rest of your suspension to suit the new shocks.

basically im fitting them to a 1960 morris minor.. it has a front telescopic kit that uses mini front shocks.. it's a daily driver and driven up quite windy roads to get to work.. I have larger tyres on it and now that the old shocks are getting worn the tyres rub.. will do the upper and lower trunnions at the same time..

i was just trying to work out what would be best for a daily driver and heavier duty to carry two 80kg people and sometimes passengers
