Hi I want to know how to get my windows to wind up and down better... I have used WD40 with little help; I have also tried to clear the gaps out in the coil so it runs smoother Got any ideas how I could fix it? |

Some of the springs loose their springyness over time, particularly if they corrode even a but. Mine were so bad the springs snapped! WD 40 is fine for cleaning them, but they need grease on them to keep them in good order. Graphite in the window rubbers can help the glass slide a bit easier too. |

Silicon spray (Nulon EzyGlide) also works wonders on rubber and plastic. For those with electric windows, it reduces a lot of stress on the motors |
