Post subject:  Booster help.

my booster has this odd one way valve on it.

do i need it on? or can i pipe straight onto the manifold.

i don't seem to be getting much suction with this valve on.

soo booster-----pipe-----<valve>---pipe------(manifold plug)

do i need a valve filter thing between the manifold & the booster?

do any of your cars have anything like this or is a pipe straight in ok?

thanks. :)

There MUST be a one way valve (check valve) in the line to the booster.
On most it is inside the elbow where the hose goes onto the booster.

that's what i thought the one way valvle would be at the bottom of the booster right? then a hose straight to the manifold?

so where that right angle plug fits into the booster would a one way valve right?

so it seems like it has 2 valves then?

i have bleed up the system & the pedal seems to brake but i'm still having to push it pretty hard & it's only doing soft braking takes a while to brake.

would that mean air in the lines still?

i will get a pro to check it all out but would be nice to sort it out my self. ;)

Hi NG. is the one way valve an in-line type? You might have it in back-to-front.

cool.

i had it the other way at first rock hard pedal..

flipped it around with arrows pointing towards manifold made the pedal better easier to push in.
