Hello all
im just about to buy a fibreglass flip front and want to make sure i will legally be able to fit it. (nsw)
Sorry if the answer is already here i cant find anything on it.

Yes it can be legally used but you will need the whole thing engineered , not just for the flip front attachment (to stop it cioming through the windscreen at your neck in an accident) but also the structural rigidity of removing the front bodywork which is a structural part of the car . talk it over with your engineer though first as some don't like fiberglass and it'd be a shame to get it and then find he won't pass it .

Thanks, i want to use it for a V-tec conversion so i will check with an engineer first. :P
