I'm buying quite a few bits for my BSA from the "old country" and postage is by far the biggest pain in the arse....

One thing i've found is that UK guys ALWAYS over-charge the postage....

FOllow the link, check it out, keep 'em honest.....
it was sent to be by the ONE honest UK Ebayer.... Bless 'im

i have found they cant be bothered with postage to Aus, so overquote to deter bidding....

There is a Royal Mail page that shows postage by country and weight also. I will dig it up tomorrow when at work.

The best thing is to use the postage calculator on the royal mail home page. I just usaly take the initiative and email the seller my preffered postage method with the link to the prices from the calculator - otherwise you always get crap and attitude about your order being too difficult plus ridiculous "handling" extras and you have to feel like a nit picker and question them.

Also Royal Mail runs in conjunction with "parcel force" which is dearer and many sellers just quote that for some reason. And once you go past the 2kg weight parcel force is the only option and it gets expensive.
