Does anyone know the part number for a Wiring Loom from Minispares or Minisport in the UK that is the equivalent of our mk2 Cooper S Loom ?

The Minispares website has part number 5L692 marked as Wiring Loom Mk2 Cooper S with alternator and 5L672 marked as Wiring Loom Mk1 Cooper S.

The Minisport website has part number 5L832 marked as Wiring Loom for a MK2 Cooper S.....and others...

Tried ringing them, but they didn't seem too confident in their answers.

I am just not sure if our Mk1 Cooper S is their MK2 Cooper s because we lagged them for a couple of years in production.....

Has anyone out there bought their MK2 Cooper S loom from either of these 2 suppliers and were they satisfied ?

Thanks

I haven't but these may help. Not sure where you are located though.

and there are others. The bottom one makes them to suit what you have ie. extra lights , a stereo or if you changed from generator to alternator. I am going to get the woven cloth even though it probably should have PVC tape covering. Looks more classic are doesn't go gooey!

Also Vinwire, www.vinwire.com.au

I have a Vinwire harness in my MK2 Cooper S, fantastic bit of gear.

If you need it for an Oz built car, don't get one from the UK, get one from one of the companies in the links above.

Don't the poms have the flasher can under the bonnet instead of under the dash?

Get an Aussie wiring harness for an Aussie Mini.
